Personal Effects Cover

Personal Effects Cover which covers the replacement of any of your personal possessions, including equipment designed to participate in hobbies, sport, camping, motorsports and electronic equipment, mobile phones and sunglasses.

Cover is provided if possessions are stolen from, or damaged as a result of fire, within your vehicle, within the United Kingdom and the Channel Islands up to a limit of £2500 during the period of cover. If an item is securely attached to the outside of your vehicle and is damaged as a result of a road traffic accident the cover also applies.

The maximum single item limit for electronic equipment is £300 and £100 for glasses or sunglasses. There is no cover for the first 14 days of purchasing the policy. All personal possessions must be out of sight and locked inside the vehicle for theft cover to apply. All thefts from your vehicle must be reported to the police within 24 hours of the incident. There is no cover for any business goods or samples, and there is an excess of £50 for all claims.
